How much time will the pet sitter spend with my pet on each visit?
As much time as is necessary for each individual pet.
Will the same pet sitter be coming each visit or will there be a different sitter each visit?
We will assign you a primary pet sitter at the initial
consultation and that person will carry out the assignment until it is complete.
The only exception is if you meet two pet sitters at the consultation and agree
to allow both to care for your pets. In that case the two professionals might
alternate visits. If your primary pet sitter in unavailable at the time you need
your next service we will offer you another sitter and you always have the option
to meet your sitter ahead of time. We will not send unauthorized sitters to enter
your home without your approval.
How far in advance do I need to reserve
pet sitting care?
As soon as you know your travel plans give us a call!
We are flexible and are willing to accommodate short notice reservations
if we have the availability. However, we prefer sufficient advance notice
and our services often become booked on holidays and throughout the summer.
You will especially want to call early if you will need us during these
peak times.
How often will my dog be taken outside while staying
at your facility?
We take the dogs outside every two hours during the
day. If your dog requires more time outside or needs to go out more frequently,
we will certainly cater to these special needs.
Do I bring my own dog food when my dogs come for boarding?
Yes, we prefer you bring the food that your dog is
used to eating so that your pet remains on its familiar diet. This helps
to prevent stomach irritation that can result when changing the brands
of food. You should place dry food in a zip-locked plastic bag. If you do not bring your own food we will feed your dog REGAL turkey and rice dry food.
What do I do if I cannot be there by closing time to
pick up my dog from day care?
We offer transport
service and we can drop off your dog at your home after-hours if
needed. We recommend using this service if you cannot pick your pet
up before we close.
